The Role
Our Fleet network is the strength behind New Zealand Couriers, requiring you to have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the capability to remain calm under pressure. You will support the Branch Manager to ensure the continued success and seamless operations of our Hawkes Bay and Gisborne fleet operation, where you will manage the Fleet and Wage Drivers.
The prime responsibility of this role involves managing the day to day running of our fleet operations, leading the courier contractors, and supporting the branch operations ensuring a premier level of service to our customers. You will have strong leadership capabilities and have an aptitude to train, develop and mentor others.
This role is Monday to Friday in operational hours however requires a degree of flexibility. It is located at our Hawkes Bay Branch located in Onekawa, Napier.
Range of Duties:
Operations and fleet management
Recruitment, development and management of Contractors and Wage Drivers
KPI reporting
Ensure the branch adheres to Health and Safety requirements.
