Our focus is to provide quality education and education to the children in our community.Our center is conveniently located near the motorway and the lively Remuera community, allowing us to forge strong community connections and embark on frequent explorations of local places of interest.

About the Role:

We are seeking an outstanding, organised and friendly Centre Administrator to join our friendly and welcoming team.

This administration role is key to the success of our centre to enable us to provide the best quality care and education to our children and ensure we meet our requirements under the Ministry of Education regulations.

As a Centre Administrator, you will have responsibility for accurate parent accounts, direct debits, account management and payments along with daily, weekly, and termly deadlines that need to be met, so attention to detail and strong organisational skills are important.

Being IT savvy and having knowledge of Word and Excel will make this role easier and from time to time you will get the opportunity to work with the tamariki/children.

We have a National Admin Support team, who operate a helpdesk to ensure Centre Administrators receive support on an ongoing basis. BestStart has very good procedures, training, and support around Ministry of Education requirements, and this will form part of your induction training.

This is a Fixed Term role working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9-3:30pm

Dates for the fixed term are: 12th August 2024 -14th March 2025
