We are Copthorne Hotel and Resort, Bay of Islands. We are part of one of New Zealand's largest hotel operators and part of an expanding international network of hotels.
We looking for an energetic Commis Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team.
As a Commis Chef, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced chefs, learn from the best and contribute to crafting exceptional dishes that delight our guests.

Do you need experience?
You will need previous kitchen experience and be confident with producing an excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner for our guests. A knowledge of the hotel industry would be an advantage, however if you are keen to learn and want to take ownership in a kitchen role this position is for YOU! What's important is that you can show us your commitment to greatness and you are flexible for shifts that include weekends and love to work with a motivated kitchen team.
We're passionate about NZ's best hospitality staff and we look after our employees. You'll enjoy secure work with 30hrs + per week, in a friendly team and being part of one of NZ's leading hotel brands. Rate Offered $25.63 - 26.93 ph
You must have legal eligibility to work in New Zealand, want to commit to the role long term and use it to grow within the hotel/business.
