Job Description

We are currently looking for experienced Support Workers to work with our client based in Birkdale. Our client has AF; moderate copd, Obesity, Right Eye Blindness, Hypertension, Severe Osteoarthritis, Chronic Renal failure and Diabetes. Due to the complexity of cares, commitment to the shifts is vital. They need assistance with daily chores, personal care, dressing, grooming and community support. This is more than just a job – you will be providing invaluable support.

This is a role where no two days are the same. You will have the ability to work one on one with our clients, to ensure they live their best life possible.

Requirements:

  • Must be Hoist competent
  • Assisting clients with personal cares.
  • Confident to handle cares independently.
  • Must have a clean and valid NZ driving licence.
  • Must be eligible to work in NZ.
  • Subject to clean police clearance check.
  • Able to commit to the shifts.
  • Training will be provided.


Tasks:

  • Hoist competent (sling/standing)
  • Personal cares, Home help and Meal preparation
  • Heavy Lifting


Shifts:

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday = 8.30am to 10.00am, 12.15pm to 12.45pm, 4.00pm to 4.30pm, 7.30pm to 8.15pm

Thursday = 12pm to 12.30pm, 4pm to 4.30pm,

Friday = 9.00am to 10am

Saturday = 9am to 10am
