Diesel Mechanic Team Leader

Are you a skilled Diesel Mechanic looking for an exciting opportunity in Auckland? We're seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our team and contribute to our success in maintaining and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and machinery. You will also be responsible for workshop management, quoting, sales as well as managing a team of mechanics.

You will be responsible for:

• Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines, including trucks, buses, and construction equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and develop effective repair solutions.
• Utilise diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems accurately.
• Managing Inventory
• Quoting jobs
• Workshop Management

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic (NZ Qualification preferred)
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and their components.
• Proficiency in diagnostic software and tools.
• Computer Skills
• Experience working with hydraulics & vibro-hammers.
• Experience with workshop setup
• Willing to travel
