Our client, a leading refrigerated transport and logistics company, is looking for a Night Shift Operations Supervisor to oversee night operations, ensuring smooth workflows and team performance in a cold storage environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee night operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance while supporting drivers and resolving any operational challenges
• Lead and support a small team, managing handovers and departures while ensuring load accuracy
• Track fleet movements, report delays, and handle maintenance issues
• Conduct yard checks, approve timesheets, and monitor temperatures

Location: Based in Islington, Christchurch
Hours: Monday – Friday, 6PM – 5AM

What You’ll Need:

• Class 5 Driver’s License (essential)
• 1-2 years’ experience in warehousing, transport, or distribution team leader or supervisor roles
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in computer systems (Microsoft Outlook & Excel) and warehousing management systems
• Cold storage experience (preferred)
• Commitment to health & safety compliance
