Job Description
This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the financial operations of several entities, with responsibilities spanning across finance, accounting, and tax-related tasks for Asia-Pacific, and other obligations. What you'll do:
As a Finance Manager, your role will be pivotal in managing the financial health of three entities. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks from managing monthly reports to coordinating with the Accounts Payable team for invoice submissions and payments. Your expertise in examining financial data will be crucial in identifying trends and patterns that can influence strategic decisions. Furthermore, your responsibility extends to preparing accurate financial reports while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage monthly reporting including accruals, reconciliations and processing
- Prepare monthly expense reports for Department Heads
- Manage the company's cash position and review monthly cash forecasts
- Coordinate the submission and processing of invoices and payments with Accounts Payable team
- Review and approve payroll calculations prior to payment in accordance with current agreements and legislation
- Complete/Coordinate all statutory returns
- Examine financial data to identify trends, patterns, and outliers
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager role brings a wealth of experience in similar roles at a senior level. You are AUS/NZ qualified CPA or CA with proven ability to work effectively in an international environment. Your drive for process improvement reflects your continuous improvement mindset. Being self-driven and organised, you excel at leading teams towards achieving common goals. Your strong understanding of systems and transactions coupled with your excellent communication skills make you an ideal fit for this role.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role in a senior capacity
- AUS/NZ qualified CPA or CA (Chartered Accountant qualified)
- Ability to work in an international environment (multiple entities)
- Drive to improve and change processes with a continuous improvement mindset
- Self-driven and organised with excellent communication skills
- Experience in leading a team
- Good understanding of system and transactional understanding
