Quantity Surveyor
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be integral to managing the financial and contractual aspects of the construction projects. Your role will involve working closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Management: Develop and manage project budgets, provide cost estimates, and prepare financial reports.
- Tendering: Prepare and review tender documents, assess bids, and offer recommendations.
- Contract Administration: Manage contracts, handle variations, and ensure adherence to contractual terms.
- Financial Reporting: Track and report on project costs, forecasts, and cash flow.
- Cost Control: Monitor project expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Collaboration: Partner with project teams, stakeholders, and clients to resolve financial issues and ensure project success.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough and accurate records of financial transactions and project changes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or a related field or relevant experience.
- Experience: Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Skills: Strong analytical abilities, proficiency in cost management software, and excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of construction contracts, cost control processes, and project management.
