Our Head Office, Factory and Warehouse are based in a handy location in Albany, where our Joinery team create shop fitouts for local NZ businesses and international brands. From tender through to handover, Logistics is an integral element of our overall process. The Logistics Department at Dimension Shopfitters incorporates the delivery of joinery and other items to site, as well as the management of our warehouse and factory storeroom.
We are looking for a superstar Logistics Coordinator to join our team and keep this busy department humming.
In this role you will oversee the administrative requirements of the department, alongside supplementary support duties - including providing assistance for the Joinery Production Manager when required.
Main duties will include:
- Plan, coordinate and communicate logistics team movements locally and nationally
- Courier packaging and booking (national and international)
- Planning and organising out of town deliveries
- Coordinate external freight solutions
- Assist in loading and load list checking
- Monitoring our drivers' hours
- H&S responsibilities
Key skills and attributes include:
- A people person with the ability to get along with many different personalities
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- Ability to pick up new systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A current full NZ driver's licence
- Some lifting is required for the loading and unloading of trucks, therefore a good level of physical fitness is required
- A sense of humour, can-do attitude and problem-solving skills
- Happy to muck in and help out when required.
