About the Role:

We’re looking for a Certified Drainlayer to join a well-known civil company in the Waikato region. If you’re someone who takes pride in your work, enjoys being part of a team, and is ready for a rewarding project, this role is for you! You'll be working on a single, exciting drainage project that will give you the chance to focus on delivering quality work from start to finish while growing your skills along the way.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use your drainlaying expertise to install, repair, and maintain the drainage system for the project, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
• Read and interpret plans to ensure the project is completed accurately and efficiently.
• Install pipes, fittings, and fixtures to the highest standards.
• Operate machinery safely and efficiently when needed.
• Work closely with the team to make sure the project stays on track and on time.
• Follow safety protocols to keep the worksite safe and secure for everyone.

What We’re Looking For:

• You hold a valid PDGB Certification in New Zealand (this is a must).
• You’re experienced with drain laying techniques, materials, and industry standards.
• You have strong problem-solving skills and can work well both independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication skills – we value clear, friendly, and open communication.
• A valid driver’s license is required, and while Class 2 and WTR licenses are a bonus, they’re not essential.
• You must have the right to work in New Zealand.
