About the Role

We're seeking a highly organised and efficient Mid Level Legal Secretary to join our team. The role could be based at either our Kohimarama or East Tamaki branches. This role is pivotal in supporting our lawyers, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of their caseloads. You'll be a key member of our team, contributing directly to our success.

The Role Will Involve

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to a team of lawyers 💼
  • Managing diaries and scheduling appointments 🗓️
  • Preparing legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, and contracts ✍️
  • Handling incoming and outgoing calls and emails 📞📧
  • Maintaining accurate client files and records 🗂️
  • Preparing documents for court filings 🧑‍⚖️
  • Liaising with clients and other professionals 🤝
  • Assisting with billing and invoicing 💰
  • Undertaking general office administration tasks

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Legal Secretary (mid-level experience preferred)
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with legal terminology and procedures is essential
