ECE Kaiako -Kingsdene Kindergarten (part time 27.5)

Ngā Tamariki Puāwai ō Tāmaki | Auckland Kindergarten Association (AKA) is seeking a passionate and qualified part time ECE Kaiako (27.5 hours Monday-Friday) to join our thriving whānau at Kingsdene Kindergarten.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Champions biculturalism and embraces Te Ao Māori.
  • Registered and qualified ECE Kaiako with a current first aid certificate.
  • Understands the unique needs of Pasifika and Māori communities (fluency in a Pasifika language a plus).
  • Integrates ICT confidently into their teaching repertoire.
  • Thrives in a collaborative setting and excels at building relationships.
  • Prioritises continuous learning and self-reflection.
  • Possesses a deep understanding of emergent curriculum and Te Whāriki.
  • Communicates effectively (written and verbal) and documents tamariki learning authentically.
  • Believes in fostering a love of learning where tamariki lead their journey.
  • Celebrates diversity and embraces an inclusive environment.
  • Brings a fun and energetic spirit to the classroom.
