Job Title: Stainless Steel Fabricator
Location: Napier, Hawke’s Bay
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: $30 - $40+ per hour (Based on experience)

Our client, a leading provider of high-quality fabrications, is on the lookout for a skilled Fabricator to join their dynamic team.
This is more than just a fabrication job – it’s an opportunity to work on a wide variety of exciting projects, from conveying systems and steel river components to... ice baths (yes, you read that right!)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings to turn ideas into reality.
• Using a variety of machinery and tools to create top-quality stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel components.
• Performing quality checks to ensure everything meets the highest standards.
• Collaborating with the team to make sure every project is done right – and on time.
• Installing fabricated products on-site and providing client support.
• Working in a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.

What You Need:

• Proven experience in steel fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• A knack for operating and maintaining fabrication tools and equipment.
• A solid understanding of industry safety standards and protocols.
• Excellent attention to detail – no cutting corners here!
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to client sites for installations and on-site work.
• A relevant trade qualification (or equivalent experience) is a plus.
