Hammerhand/Journeyman Wanted – Rotorua

Responsibilities: As a Hammerhand/Journeyman, you will report to a foreman and work alongside Tradesman to work on some local projects.

Your day-to-day tasks may include:

• Maintaining and operating a range of carpentry tools and equipment safely
• Form-work
• Laying building foundations
• Cement-based work
• Flooring, Gibbing, and Roofing work

Requirements:

• Currently completing your Level 4 Certificate in Carpentry OR have a minimum of 4 years experience as a Hammerhand/Journeyman
• Own tools are required
• Minimum restricted license and own transport to and from the site is ESSENTIAL
• Valid work Visa (if applicable) or the right to work in New Zealand
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test if applicable
• Capable of working independently or as part of a team
• Following instructions and clearly communicating with Trades Qualified personnel
