Are you an experienced large-site Operations and Production leader in Manufacturing looking for your next challenge? We invite you to apply for the role of Operations | Site Manager - Packaging at our clients state-of-the-art South Auckland site. Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Project Management: Lead end-to-end production projects with a keen eye for detail, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and impeccable quality control. Develop and execute project plans, allocate resources effectively, and track progress to meet objectives.
  • Efficiency Optimization: Analyse and refine production processes to boost productivity, reduce waste, and enhance resource utilization. Apply lean manufacturing principles and other methodologies to achieve operational excellence.
  • People-Focused Culture: Cultivate a positive, inclusive work environment that supports and motivates your team. Facilitate professional development, encourage open communication, and build a cohesive, high-performing team.
  • Best Practices Implementation: Stay ahead of industry trends and innovations. Introduce and maintain best practices in production management to ensure the team operates at the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Safety Standards: Promote and uphold a culture of safety across all production activities. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conduct regular safety audits, and implement necessary corrective actions.


What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 5 years of experience in management within the manufacturing (ideally packaging) sector.
  • Proven expertise in managing production projects and optimizing operational efficiencies.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on team management and development.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong commitment to safety and maintaining a secure work environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, or a related field.


Hours required for this role: Cira 8am-4.30|5pm with flexibility to meet production demands.
