We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Marketing Automation Specialist who will be responsible for senior level technical support and campaign design consultancy to the Customer Engagement Channel team, and other internal and external stakeholders. Initial focus is Adobe Marketo Engage and Atomic.io, however other channels are supported via BNZ’s Decisioning Engine.

We sat down with our current Head of Customer Engagement Channels, they let us know the below about the role:

What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?

  • Guidance and consultancy on complex campaign briefs, Next Best Conversations or new channel initiatives
  • Building, testing and deploying customer communication as required, with a lead role in peer review and QA of customer communication prior to deployment.
  • Subject matter expert for Marketo, managing platform administration and working with Customer Engagement Development team and Technology on the set up, testing and monitoring of data integrations
  • Platform Database Management and Data Governance, ensuring data entering Marketo and other managed channels supports ongoing campaign and reporting initiatives.
  • Work with other channel platforms as required, to deliver omni-channel, personalised customer communications.

What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this role?

  • 5+ years' experience in a data-driven marketing comms role or similar
  • 3+ years using Marketing Automation Platforms in an advanced / admin capacity, preferably Marketo
  • Ability to manage multiple activities, priorities, and conflicting deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
