Te Tūranga – About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Team Leader within Foodstuffs North Island UNI Chilled Frozen and Produce Distribution Centres. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of inventory management systems. You will lead a team of dedicated shipment planners and drive system enhancements, data accuracy, and overall business performance through collaboration and effective project management.

Your Responsibilities
· Ensure all team activities align with our Journey to Zero safety objectives.
· Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one discussions to foster a high-performing culture.
· Develop your team to enhance engagement and drive excellence.
· Analyse workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend system improvements.
· Use business intelligence tools to analyse inventory data and support decision-making regarding stock levels, replenishment, and demand forecasting.
· Develop dashboards and reports offering real-time visibility into stock movements and key performance indicators.
· Maintain data integrity and consistency, verifying precision in inventory counts and stock levels.
· Investigate stock and inventory variances using Blue Yonder-WMS and SAP, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align inventory systems with strategic business objectives.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for WMS-related queries and process improvements.
· Review claims and ensure accurate data entry for analysis.
· Provide detailed Power BI and SQL reporting on system performance and operational metrics.
· Manage planning and optimisation of new vendor/supplier integrations.
· Identify and implement slotting opportunities to minimise errors and damages.
· Oversee allocation processing and planning within the warehouse.

He kōrero mōu - About you
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a DC/warehouse environment.
· Must have completed a bachelor's degree or higher
· Strong understanding of DC Inventory & Operational Processes.
· Hardworking and committed to ensuring the shift runs successfully.
· Highly engaged and focused on continuous improvement.
· Experience with SAP and WMS (Blue Yonder/JDA).
· Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Power BI.
· Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with experience in data and process modelling.
· Solid understanding of OSH regulations, food safety, and DC hazards.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balancing speed and quality.
· Comfortable working in temperatures of 2-3 degrees down to -22 degrees in our freezer.
