As a leading company in recruitment, Adecco is looking for a detail-oriented and safety-conscious individual with experience in dangerous goods handling to join our team as a Dangerous Goods Warehouse Coordinator/Operator. This dynamic role requires a blend of warehouse experience, safety awareness, and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process dangerous goods documentation for export, import, and DG handling.
  • Utilise multiple systems such as Oracle, SAP, Axapta, and D365.
  • Pick and pack cold, ambient, and frozen products according to internal work instructions.
  • Perform checking and receipting of goods.
  • Maintain health and safety protocols and follow daily 5S operations.
  • Operate Crown Wave and Bendi Forklifts.
  • Ensure reliability and efficient communication within our small, dedicated team.


Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of warehouse experience (preferably in a similar role).
  • Strong knowledge of dangerous goods handling and safety protocols.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, and other relevant tools.
  • Forklift licence and a full driver's licence (with F endorsement).
  • DG Handling and DG Packing for road trip certification is essential.
  • Good written and spoken English, and a good memory to stay organised.


Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Must reside in New Zealand.
  • Must have the right to work in New Zealand.
  • Must complete all pre-employment checks.


Hours:

  • 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
