Job Description
As a Process Engineer & Trainer, you’ll be stepping into a fabricator business that already operates with best practice in mind – and your role will be to help enhance it even further. You’ll work directly with our fabricators, using your process engineering skills to assess workflows, redesign layouts, and streamline operations for maximum efficiency. You’ll also be instrumental in developing and delivering training programs to ensure our team and customers are always ahead of the curve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Improvement Master: Leverage your engineering expertise to analyse and optimise workflows, layouts, and processes to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance quality.
  • Get Hands-On with Fabricators: Work directly within our fabricator businesses, using your skills to implement layout changes that increase efficiency, improve safety, and reduce bottlenecks.
  • Training and Development: Create and deliver engaging, practical training programs that help employees and customers adopt best practices and stay on top of new processes and technologies.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Use performance data to identify areas for improvement, track progress, and deliver measurable results that align with the company’s goals.
  • Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with teams and fabricators to identify challenges and develop creative solutions that have a lasting impact.
  • Foster Continuous Improvement: Instill a culture of continuous improvement in every part of the business, helping everyone from the shop floor to senior leadership stay focused on growth and excellence.
  • Health & Safety Focused: Ensure all changes and improvements meet health and safety regulations, promoting a safe work environment for everyone.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Process Engineering Expertise: Strong background in process engineering, with a proven ability to optimise workflows, layouts, and manufacturing operations.
  • Fabricator Business Insight: You’re keen to get into the nitty-gritty of fabricator operations and are excited about using your skills to make a tangible difference on the floor.
  • Training and Coaching Skills: A passion for developing others, with the ability to create impactful training programs and deliver them in a way that’s engaging and easy to understand.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: You love getting to the root of a problem and developing creative, practical solutions that drive long-term results.
  • Tech-Savvy: Solid knowledge of manufacturing tools, machinery, and technologies, and a willingness to keep learning and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Health & Safety First: A commitment to upholding health and safety standards, ensuring your work environment and the wider team are always safe.
  • Adaptable and Positive: You thrive in fast-paced environments, are comfortable with change, and approach challenges with a positive, solution-focused attitude.

What’s in It for You?

  • Collaborative Environment: Work with a team that values innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Development Opportunities: We invest in your growth – from training programs to career progression, we’re committed to helping you reach your full potential.
  • Great Culture: Join a company with a supportive, can-do attitude and a culture where everyone’s contribution is valued.
