About the role | He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team with particular focus on meeting the Service Delivery needs of clients within the community setting. You will provide specialist Nursing care and expertise, both in direct Service Delivery and in support to other team members in the management of complex clients.
This role will see you demonstrating your advanced assessment, planning and problem-solving skills along with a high level of critical thinking to manage and find solutions to a variety of complex and unpredictable problems.
This is a full time role based in Ōtautahi Christchurch.
What you will bring | Ngā tohungatanga mō tēnei tūranga
- Registered Nurse qualification and current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
- Relevant post graduate qualification(s) and significant experience working in the community
- Excellent knowledge of complex health conditions across the lifespan
- Advanced clinical assessment skills
- Previous experience and in-depth knowledge of primary and community healthcare delivery models
- Passion and expertise working collaboratively and developing leadership and subject matter skills in others
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills, and highly developed emotional intelligence
- A love of problem solving combined with resilience to cope with the unexpected or difficult
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, including project management experience
- Sound judgement and high level of integrity.
- Experience in providing direction and delegation of care to others within defined policies and procedures
