We’re looking for a Bakery Manager to join our Woolworths Newtown team

About You | Mōu
As well as a passion for people and baking we are looking for our new leader to have

  • Previous baking experience as well as ordering, stocktake and rostering systems
  • Previous people leadership experience in a Bakery environment
  • A strong customer focus and excellent communication skills
  • Excellent prioritisation skills which will enable you to manage your workload
  • The ability to train and motivate a winning team'


From bread and cakes to pastries you will be joining a hands on and customer focused department where no two days are the same. A day in the life of a Bakery Manager could look like:

  • Meeting daily and weekly targets, KPI’s, ordering, stock taking and rostering
  • Ensure the best level of service for our bakery customers
  • Train and develop staff in your department including fellow Bakers & Apprentices
  • Championing Health, Safety and Food Safety practices


The hours and days for this Bakery Manager position are Tuesday - Saturday 0600-1530
