  • Join a small, creative company in the city centre
  • Collaborate with top brands and artists to create quality embroidery and merchandise
  • Work strategically alongside Doug to nourish growth

We’re seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Embroidery Production Operator — an integral, hands on role which ensures production of our top-quality embroidery.

Our Story

We started as embroiderers. Now we're t-shirt makers and merchandise optimists. We’re trusted to bring to life quality, bespoke merchandise on our original, best-fit blanks.

The Role

We're seeking a detail-oriented self starter who can demonstrate confidence, tight organisation, time management and initiative.

The main responsibilities of this position are ensuring we’re delivering efficient, exceptional product and service and running the entire embroidery production process, including operating our machinery.

You will be in charge of operating embroidery machinery, sampling, digitising edits, quality control, turnaround time, efficiency and delegating various other services — including but not limited to relabelling, patches, chainstitch, screen print and Supacolour.

Key responsibilities

  • Operating industrial embroidery machinery
  • Preparing, hooping and producing embroidered garments at a high level
  • Managing various production processes — mainly embroidery, relabelling, patches
  • Maintaining and improving workshop management and systems
  • High-level quality control
  • Using Hoops CRM — ensuring jobs are mapped, followed closely and clients are kept in the loop
  • Improving and troubleshooting embroidery and digitising
  • Understanding and improving turnaround time and efficiency
  • Clear communication with Doug, colleagues and clients

Key skills and experience

  • Experience with embroidery machines is preferred
  • Detail-oriented
  • Positive, enthusiastic outlook
  • Confident in abilities
  • Knowledge of embroidery, screen print or decoration
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet hard deadlines
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative
  • Excellent literacy and communication skills
  • Punctual, driven and great work ethic
  • Experience in one or more of the following; fashion, embroidery, screen print, decoration, manufacturing or textiles
  • Basic machine sewing skills are preferred but not necessary
