About the Role
In this role, you'll provide essential administration and customer service support to our Animal Services team. You'll be responsible for:

  • Handling customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
  • Processing dog registrations and updating databases.
  • Overseeing stock and supplies for our animal shelters.
  • Issuing infringement notices and ensuring compliance with dog control laws.
  • Assisting Animal Control Officers with front desk duties, including handling payments.


What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in administration with strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • A passion for helping people and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Great communication and relationship-building abilities to engage with the community.
  • Cash handling skills.
  • A full NZ driver's licence.
  • Comfortable working with dogs (bonus if you have experience microchipping dogs)!
  • Experience creating informational or educational materials for the public is a plus.
