Albany Village Bridgestone is located in the charming old Albany Village. We take pride in providing top-quality tyre services and exceptional customer care, supported by a friendly and skilled team. We are looking for an experienced Tyre Fitter to join our small but dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with prior tyre fitting experience who is eager to continue growing in the tyre and automotive industry.
About the Role:
As an Experienced Tyre Fitter, you will play a key role in ensuring our customers' vehicles are safe and roadworthy. You will be responsible for fitting, balancing, and repairing tyres while delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment. This role also includes operating our mobile tyre van, providing on-site tyre services to customers at their home, workplace, or roadside as needed. As this Bridgestone centre is owned by North Albany Motors Ltd Trading as Albany Toyota there will be times you will be visiting our service centres based across Browns Bay, Whangaparaoa and Warkworth.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in tyre fitting, balancing, and repairs.
- Full, clean driver’s license (manual driving skills preferred).
- Ability to work rostered Saturdays.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Enjoys hands-on, physical work.
- Strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing and identifying customer tyre needs.
- Fitting, balancing, and repairing tyres for a wide range of vehicles.
- Operating the mobile tyre van to provide off-site tyre services.
- Assisting with wheel alignments (training provided).
- Delivering friendly and professional customer service.
- Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment.
- Assisting the team with daily tasks and stock management.
