Adecco New Zealand is seeking motivated and enthusiastic Fabricator - Welder to join our ever growing Civil & Construction team across New Zealand. Role Description:
We are currently looking for experienced Fabricator - Welder for ongoing work around West Coast region. The roles will include various welding disciplines, from Structural Steel, Pipe welding, to high quality Tig welding for the food and dairy industry, as well as carbon steel pipe, stainless pipe welding and Fabricating. This is a great opportunity to not only enjoy a change in job but also work in a great team environment. Health & Safety is a key priority for us, and you will need a Fabricator -Welder good knowledge, understanding and proven application of Health and Safety practices. Salary will be based on experience for this role.
About you:
- Have the ability to read plans, blueprints, and drawings, taking accurate measurements, calculating, and planning material requirements.
- You will take pride in the quality of your work meeting ticketed procedure standards.
- You will have a strong work ethic and have excellent communication skills.
- You must have a reliable transport.
- Prepared to be either workshop or site based as required by our clients.
- Be able to set up and adjust your own welding plant.
- Possess confidence to work with minimal supervision.
Benefits:
- Competitive rates of pay Min. $29.66 - $34.00 depending on experience.
- Permanent and full-time role with good working hours with a minimum of 30 hours paid per week
