Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our clients CPS230 compliance initiative. This role will focus on mapping critical banking services and uplifting business continuity processes to align with APRA CPS230 regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in regulatory compliance, risk management, and process mapping, ensuring alignment with policy expectations and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct process mapping (Level 8 preferred) to document and analyze critical banking services.
• Work closely with Line 1 Risk teams to define business risks and enhance operational resilience.
• Support the compliance uplift required for APRA CPS230, ensuring regulatory deadlines and policy expectations are met.
• Identify and document Critical Data Elements (CDEs) relevant to operational resilience.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including the Chief Risk Officer and GM Enterprise & Operational Risk, to drive policy adherence.
• Provide expertise in regulatory technology uplift, including experience with RBNZ BS11 supplier resilience or similar frameworks.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience in business analysis within financial services, particularly in risk, compliance, or regulatory change initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of APRA CPS230 or RBNZ regulatory requirements.
• Expertise in business process mapping (Level 8 preferred).
• Experience working with Line 1 Risk teams to define business risk frameworks.
• Familiarity with Critical Data Elements (CDEs) and their impact on operational resilience.
• Previous experience with regulatory technology uplift, particularly in supplier resilience.
