About the role:
Remarkable People is seeking a skilled and reliable Class 2 Driver with WTR endorsement to join our team in Hamilton working with a digger. This position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver to contribute to the success of our road transport operations.
What you'll be doing:
- Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle to transport goods and materials across the region.
- Operating a digger.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working order.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and documentation related to deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communication with clients
- Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles as needed
What we're looking for:
- A valid Class 2 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Drainage experience preferred but not essential.
- Wheels, Trucks, and Rollers (WTR) endorsement.
- Proven experience as a Class 2 driver.
- Strong knowledge of traffic regulations and safety best practices.
- Excellent driving and navigation skills.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role.
