Reporting to Digital Manager, as a Digital Product Owner Lead, you’ll manage squad backlogs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Collaborating with core partners, you’ll refine and prioritise tasks to achieve optimal outcomes. You will develop and execute delivery plans, overseeing resource allocation, financial forecasting, schedule management, and risk mitigation to ensure your squad meets its milestones.

Leading agile practices, you’ll foster a culture of continuous improvement, helping your squad grow in agile maturity and high-performance delivery. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, manage interdependencies, and ensure seamless collaboration across squads and portfolios. Providing regular updates on progress, risks, and spend against cost/benefits, you’ll maintain transparency and alignment across the organisation.

This is a permanent full-time position with hybrid working conditions based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland).

We’re excited to engage with skilled professionals who possess the following expertise and experience:

• Extensive Product Owner experience within general insurance or financial services
• Strong understanding of digital methodologies, best practices and digital customer experience
• Proven track record in driving digital growth and channel adoption across the entire sales funnel
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage complexity, navigate ambiguity, and respond to change
• Experience leading high-performance matrix teams, with exceptional influencing skills and a track record of building collaborative partnerships across all levels
• Passion for fostering a continuous improvement environment and delivering key programs of work aligned with agile methodologies
• E-commerce and Conversion rate optimisation experience in a dynamic and fast paced environment (highly desirable)
