As our Associate Director to join our close-knit Private Client Services team in Christchurch, where you’ll be instrumental in laying the foundations for our future growth. Whilst the role is primarily with our Christchurch and South Island based clients, you’ll also be involved in helping to drive our national practice. This position ultimately offers you the chance to drive progress, inspire others, and create an overarching influence on the direction of our overall team.

  • Drawing on your skills and experience in accounting and tax compliance and advisory
  • You will also provide advice that covers structuring, growth, strategy, succession planning and more.
  • Private clients have a range of needs that can vary on any given day; hence it will be your role to be seen as a trusted advisor and manage a large client base. T
  • his will also include identifying opportunities to network with and develop new business opportunities.

  • Ability to manage a large client base and multitask accordingly, whilst also delivering strong client focus and building relationships with senior stakeholders, internally and externally;
  • Advanced financial reporting, accounting and tax technical knowledge, as well as up-to-date knowledge of market trends and developments;
  • Advanced knowledge of relevant NZ legislation;
  • You have a combination of technical and commercial acumen to effectively advise;
  • Possess a well-rounded, innovative and progressive way of thinking, that keeps our clients at the forefront of everything we do;
  • You are a collaborator and team-player, with a high level of communication and engagement;
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring junior team members, as well as developing others;
  • Qualified CA, CPA or equivalent.
