Our industry-leading Merivale office is in growth mode, and we have a rare and exciting opportunity available for a motivated person to join us in the newly created role of Sales Manager.

Harcourts Holmwood is a high-performing real estate company with a strong market share in Christchurch. As one of the very first Harcourts franchises, Harcourts Holmwood is a stable, successful, and spritely company with five offices in Christchurch - Ilam, Bryndwr, Merivale, Fendalton, and St Albans.

Based at Merivale office, under the management of Deb Beasley you will both be responsible for the growth and support of a dynamic sales team. With the backing of our leadership, administration, marketing, and finance teams you will be instrumental in further developing the great culture, training, mentoring, and developing of agents. Key to this role is your ability to roll up your sleeves and work alongside team members to ensure they reach their full potential.

To be successful in this role you will need to possess the following:

  • At least 5+ years' experience as a real estate salesperson
  • Previous people management experience - either within the real estate industry or in a previous career
  • The ability to drive the success of individual agents through the use of KPIs and one on one coaching
  • Strong skills in the day-to-day tasks of a real estate agent including CRM management, contract paperwork, and office technology
  • A natural ability to develop a strong team culture and drive performance
