About The Role

Position: Logistics Coordinator

Are you looking for a new and exciting opportunity in Logistics? Do you thrive on providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment? This job might just be for you! We have a prime opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator who is keen to learn about our business, apply themselves and gain valuable experience!

This is full time position with a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week, the required hours for the job are 47.5 per week. Hours of work are between 7am-5 pm Monday – Friday, 7am to 2pm Saturday as required.

Location: Woolston, Christchurch

Status: Fulltime

Start Date: Immediate

Duties:

Your primary function will be to coordinate the movement and flow of containers throughout the depot whilst maintaining data integrity and professionally communicating with both internal and external stakeholders.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing trucks in and out of the yard using our own in-house booking system
  • Reconciling booking spreadsheets
  • Directing and instructing truck driver movements in the yard
  • Assisting with internal and external enquiries
  • Communicating yard movements with ground staff via RT
