Job Description

  • Safely operate Class 1 truck, truck loads are securely fastened & transported.
  • Conduct thorough pre-vehicle checks and follow strict safety protocols.
  • Work independently, while being approachable and outgoing with others.


We are currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Truck Driver to join our team!

In this role, you will be responsible for transporting often big or heavy loads between sites, ensuring safety compliance at all times, and maintaining high standards of vehicle checks and load securing. You'll be working independently for the most part but should be outgoing and social when working alongside others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Class 1 truck safely and efficiently.
  • Secure heavy loads and ensure they are safely transported.
  • Conduct pre-vehicle checks and maintain proper vehicle inspections.
  • Perform occasional heavy lifting as required.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Work independently and manage daily tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain a positive and approachable attitude when interacting with others.
  • Working hours are typically Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, need for flexibility at times.


Requirements:

  • A clean full Class 1 drivers license.
  • Proven Class 1 truck driving experience.
  • Strong safety awareness and experience in vehicle safety protocols.
  • Ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary.
  • Pre-vehicle checking experience and a solid understanding of safety procedures.
  • A social, outgoing personality with the ability to work independently.
  • Must pass a drug test.
  • ASAP Start available.
  • PPE will be provided for the right candidate.
