Job Description

We’re on the lookout for a reliable Sales & Service Coordinator to join our Christchurch team!

About the Role

Your duties will include unloading and loading products in accordance with safe operating procedures, processing customer orders and conducting sales while maintaining a professional image at all times. You will be providing assistance across the yard and in store when needed, so you must be fit and comfortable lifting weight up to 25kgs as well as confident interacting and providing great service to our customers. You may be required to assist with additional duties such as operating a forklift in the yard,carrying out customer deliveries, and general administrative and stock room duties within the branch

Standard hours of work are 40-hours per week, Monday to Friday between 7:00 am and 5:00pm. Some flexibility in start/finish time may be considered.

Skills and Experience

Full Driver’s Licence required. A Class 2 Licence and F endorsement & Forklift licence is preferred although we can provide support for the right candidate.

While a background in either yard work or sales will be advantageous to this role, it will also be important you are you are able to demonstrate:

  • Self-motivation and reliability.
  • A focus on strong customer service
  • Strong communication written and verbal
  • Able to undertake some repetitive heavy lifting– up to 25kgs
  • A willingness to be trained and learn new skills.
