THE OPPORTUNITY:

As a tech start-up in 2018 we drastically changed the face of NZ real estate and 6 years on we still thrive on our entrepreneurial spirit with OneRoof New Zealand’s home of Real Estate, with thousands of listings, the latest property news, and market insights to help make property decisions easier.

We're searching for two OneRoof Account Executives to continue our exciting growth across Canterbury.

THE ROLE:

The purpose of this role is to support the generation of revenue for NZME through proactive, customer-focused account management to achieve NZME sales revenue and growth targets for the Real Estate category. This will be achieved by maintaining a high level of service with the current client base and identifying potential new clients.

You’ll work closely with the Commercial Manager and Account Manager to ensure the creation of lasting business relationships that add value to both the client and NZME, by providing them with quality solutions that align with selling strategies and company values. This will enhance NZME’s reputation in the marketplace as the media partner of choice for New Zealand businesses.

HOW YOU'LL DO IT:

  • Meeting with clients regularly to understand their business needs.
  • Help develop and present appropriate solutions to satisfy client needs using NZME’s product portfolio (print, radio, digital), with a primary focus on OneRoof digital.
  • Maintain responsibility for assigned accounts, ensuring all NZME business with the client is executed to expected standards, and OneRoof Conversion and Yield growth is executed within budget.
  • Conduct regular reviews with clients to ensure their needs are being met and keep management updated on account developments.
  • Support identifying potential new clients and conducting business meetings to explore revenue opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the wider OneRoof team to enhance customer experience and drive growth.
  • Provide summaries on assigned accounts in terms of sales, opportunities, and risks as required.


ABOUT YOU:

  • Relevant qualification and/or knowledge and experience in the New Zealand media market.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in an account executive or sales role, preferably in a fast-paced, audience-focused environment.
  • Strong customer service ethic, continuously looking for opportunities to improve customer service and engagement.
  • Good selling skills, using strong interpersonal skills (active listening and communication) to explore options and reach optimal outcomes.
  • Proven ability in maintaining high customer service standards and successful negotiation.
