He angitūtanga / The opportunity:

Compass Group NZ are looking for an amazing Chef to join our team within Qantas International Lounge in Auckland Airport on a Casual basis. Hours of work are "as and when" required basis.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

  • You will be reporting to the Head Chef
  • You will be responsible for the preparation and presentation of the lounge menu
  • Cooking daily
  • Most importantly providing a second to none experience to a large variety of airline passengers which use the lounge


He kōrero mōu / About you:

  • Proven experience working in a commercial kitchen as a Chef
  • Be a hardworking team player who is able to work under pressure with a positive attitude
  • Have up to date knowledge of current Food Safety and Occupational Health and Safety legislation
  • Hold food safety Unit Standards 167 and 168 or equivalent
  • Demonstrate a passion for great food and quality.
  • Proven reliability.
  • Demonstrate experience of kitchen leadership and the ability to lead a team by building a motivated and cohesive unit.
